Our regular 1:1 sessions will be the backbone of our work together. We’ll work together to understand not just what you eat, but why and how you eat and move towards a place where eating feels flexible, free and intuitive.
To accompany our work together, you’ll receive access to our signature 12 module online program to support the work that we do in our 1:1 sessions. This is not a replacement for our sessions, but a way to support it so you get more out of each visit.
If you’re tired of dieting, food rules, and feeling disconnected from your body, or stuck in cycles of “doing well” and then falling back into yo-yo diets, intuitive eating offers a different way forward.
As an intuitive eating dietitian, I support you to step away from restriction, reconnect with hunger and fullness cues, and rebuild trust with food and your body.
Our work together focuses on eating in a way that supports both your physical and mental wellbeing, so food can feel calmer, more flexible, and less all-consuming.
Intuitive eating isn’t another diet, plan, or set of rules to follow. It’s an evidence-based, compassionate framework that helps you move away from dieting and toward a calmer, more trusting relationship with food.
As an intuitive eating dietitian, I’ll support you to reconnect with your body’s hunger, fullness, and satisfaction cues, gently dismantle diet culture beliefs, and build a flexible way of eating that feels sustainable and enjoyable.
Whether you’ve been dieting for years, feel stuck in the binge–restrict cycle, or are exhausted from overthinking every food decision, I offer personalised, non-diet, weight-neutral support to help food take up less mental and emotional space.
Intuitive eating isn’t a quick fix or a short-term solution. It’s a long-term approach that supports reconnecting with your body, rebuilding trust, and improving both physical and mental wellbeing.
Research shows that intuitive eating is associated with lower rates of binge eating, disordered eating behaviours, body dissatisfaction, and depressive symptoms over time, as well as greater weight stability and psychological wellbeing.
Rather than chasing short-term outcomes, intuitive eating helps food take up less mental space and supports health in a way that can adapt with you across different stages of life.
Hi, I’m Kiah Paetz, an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, and intuitive eating dietitian who supports people to find peace with food after years of dieting, food stress, and feeling disconnected from their body.
My approach is shaped by both professional training and lived experience of struggling with my own relationship with food. Years spent in food rules, calorie counting, and the binge–restrict cycle led me to step away from diet culture and pursue a more compassionate, sustainable way of supporting health. That journey is what ultimately guided me toward intuitive eating and working in the eating disorder space.
My work is grounded in the principles of intuitive eating, body trust, and safety. I take a non-diet, weight-neutral, HAES®-aligned approach, and my practice is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming.
I don’t believe in rigid plans, food rules, or “perfect eating.” Instead, I focus on helping you understand your body, reduce food noise, and build a flexible way of eating that supports both physical and mental wellbeing.
Whether you’re new to intuitive eating or need support letting go of chronic dieting, I’ll meet you where you are, with warmth, curiosity, and compassion and help you build a relationship with food that works for you.
Hey, I'm Kiah!
I’m an intuitive eating dietitian based in Brisbane, offering support via telehealth so you can access care from anywhere in Australia. This flexible approach allows you to receive consistent, compassionate support without the stress of travel or in-person appointments.

1:1 dietitian sessions
Our weekly or fortnightly 1:1 sessions are the foundation of our work together. We’ll focus on understanding your relationship with food, not just what you eat, but the thoughts, habits, and beliefs shaping your choices. Together, we’ll work to step away from dieting, reconnect with hunger and fullness cues, reduce food guilt and anxiety, and build trust with food and your body in a way that feels calm, supportive, and sustainable.
You’ll receive access to a flexible collection of nourishing recipes to support regular eating and reduce food stress. There are no rigid rules or “good/bad” foods, just gentle ideas to support nourishment, food variety, and confidence with meals and snacks, wherever you’re starting from.
Alongside our sessions, you’ll receive access to my signature online program designed to support intuitive eating and a healthier relationship with food. This program complements our 1:1 work by offering education, reflection, and practical tools you can return to between sessions, helping reinforce progress at your own pace.
Challenges around food don’t only show up during appointment, and support shouldn’t either. You’ll have access to between-session messaging so you can ask questions, receive reassurance, and get guidance when things feel overwhelming, confusing, or uncertain.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! Intuitive eating can be incredibly effective for binge eating. This is as it addresses:
Emotional regulation challenges around food
Restriction and rebound hunger
Fear foods and deprivation of ‘bad’ foods
Mindset patterns are keeping you stuck in a binge-restrict cycle
As a dietitian, my role is to support you in stabilising your eating, reconnecting with hunger and fullness cues, and reducing binge eating episodes without guilt or restriction.
That’s very common — especially after years of dieting or disordered eating. Reconnecting with body cues is a gradual process. We work gently, using structure, curiosity, and support to help cues become clearer over time, without forcing or rushing.
Weight is not the focus of intuitive eating. Some people’s weight changes, others’ stays the same. The goal is improving your relationship with food, reducing disordered eating patterns, and supporting health behaviours , not controlling body size.
